His online initiative, studentreadinglists.com, also won 'Software Start Up of the Year' and the Angel prize.

Having completed his MBA in 2010, Nils and his business partner, Robert Boland, launched Studentreadinglists.com - an online service that enables students to buy all their course books in one simple transaction and at the most competitive prices.

The web tool was a result of a collaboration between Nils, Robert and Cambridge Judge Business School's MBA Programme team and was launched in September 2011 to the incoming Cambridge MBA students.Although there is no additional cost for the service, the company does receive a commission for every book purchased that it shares with the corresponding university. According to Cambridge Judge Business School, the concept has been proven, with Cambridge Judge Business School being one of the first institutions to use the service, with the money raised being donated to Aiducation International - a non-profit organisation dedicated to giving underprivileged students in Kenya access to education.

Nils commented: "I am absolutely thrilled to win these three awards and I would like to thank the team and our supporters. This is a great reflection of how far studentreadinglists.com has come in the last year, and with the new version to be released in July 2012, the team will be expanding its service to further educational institutions."

During his MBA, Nils participated in the Entrepreneurship Concentration, which is managed by the MBA Programme team in conjunction with the Centre of Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL) at Cambridge Judge Business School. CfEL also supports the CUE Committee with the Business Creation Competition each year.

The CUE Grand Finale 2012 took place on 14 June at the West Road Concert Hall in Cambridge and saw the competition finalists pitch their business ideas to a panel of renowned Angel investors. The keynote speaker for the evening was Eben Upton, founder and trustee of Raspberry Pi and also an alumnus of Cambridge Judge Business School, having completed the Executive MBA programme in 2011.
