As Cambridge Judge Business School reporetd, Shelley Wallace will be cycling alongside her boyfriend Chris Borchers, Chloe Jenkin (wife of a fellow MBA student) and Conrad Chua, Head of MBA Recruitment & Admissions at Cambridge Judge Business School.

The group plan to leave Cambridge early on Saturday 28 July, wind their way down to Hertfordshire to join the Lea Valley cycle path and will finish in Central London in time to see the finish of the Olympic Men's Road Cycling event.

Shelley and Chris originally planned the trip to raise money for Vision Rescue as they will be volunteering with them in Mumbai for three weeks in August. The charity focuses on feeding, providing non-formal education, medical help, skills, training and other kinds of assistance to addicted and abused street children.

Shelley commented: "This sponsored cycle ride is vitally important in raising awareness and support for this incredible charity and the work they do with street children in Mumbai."

Conrad, who is leading the group, commented: "The route we are taking from Cambridge to London is around 70 miles, but will be quite relaxed as we're not planning on completing it within any set time scales – just as long as we're in London in time to see the Men's Cycling! I just hope we don't stray into any of the Games Lanes that we are not allowed in!"
