The FINANCIAL -- Ashridge is staging two
introductory events in collaboration with the Institute of Professional
Development, Open University Malaysia (IPD-OUM) on 27 and 29 November.
As Malaysia continues to gather momentum in developing its competitive edge in global business markets, senior business professionals and human resource leaders will have the opportunity to learn how they can enhance the success of their people and organisations.
The first session in the University’s auditorium on Tuesday 27 November is a round table discussion for senior HR professionals. This will feature the Ashridge approach to leadership development, the benefits of working and learning virtually and how to develop a talent pipeline.
As Ashridge Media Centre reported, it will outline Ashridge’s integrated approach to development where the business school is a world class provider of customised and open executive education, organisation consulting, virtual learning and qualification programmes.
Then, a VIP event, on Thursday 29 November, 11:00 to 13:00 (including light refreshments), at Sheraton Imperial, Jalan Sultan Ismail, will outline the CEO leadership development agenda from a European perspective. A debate will follow to compare this to the challenges facing CEOs in Malaysia.
Both sessions will be presented by Paul Pinnington, who has directed leadership and development projects for global companies in Europe, USA, South America and Asia; Jackie Carter, Learning and Development Consultant for Ashridge; and Vicky Vass, Director of Academic Partnerships and Accreditation.
