As division president, South Asia, Sarker will provide leadership to the South Asia team to drive core business growth, executing on the nascent but fast rising emerging payments opportunities in the subcontinent. Sarker joined MasterCard in December 2010 and has been responsible for the growth of network processing under Global Products & Solutions for APMEA and across the payment value chain.

Prior to joining MasterCard , Sarker spent over 12 years with GE in a variety of senior roles in accounting, audit, corporate finance, and private equity across several key markets in the Americas, Europe, & Asia Pacific. Chang’s newly created role as group executive, global cross border program execution, will focus on shaping, planning and executing the global cross border strategy.  Chang will partner to plan, co-ordinate, and measure corporate progress and execute priority initiatives, working closely with account teams, GP&S and other functions.

Chang joined MasterCard in 2003 to take on the role as ‘turnaround’ country manager for Korea.  After his success in Korea, he led the APMEA advisors function before taking up his current role, spanning two and half years leading the GP&S organization in APMEA.  Over this time he has built a strong team, elevated the cross border agenda, enhanced the leverage of advanced analytics, and built a stronger alignment between GP&S function and the APMEA Region.

Chang has lived, studied and worked in Australia, Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, US, UK, and most recently Singapore.
