"Aquafina has been a partner of MLB for many years, specifically sponsoring Aquafina MLB Pitch, Hit & Run, a program that invites youth to demonstrate their skills, competing in pitching, hitting and running abilities."
Pitch, Hit & Run has been a huge success, attracting more than 685,000 boys and girls between the ages of seven and 14 last year. Participants can advance through four levels of competition, beginning locally, culminating in championships hosted by each MLB ballpark. Since May 26, all 30 MLB clubs have been hosting championships – the top competitors nationwide from each age group (7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14) will advance to the 2012 Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run National Finals during MLB All-Star Week in Kansas City, MO.
"I'm proud to team up with Aquafina and MLB to support this year's Pitch, Hit & Run program," said Harold Reynolds, two-time MLB All-Star. "It is a tremendous program that helps kids learn the fundamentals of baseball and just lets them have fun.
