Among the attributes that earned TCS the prominent position are its scale, the number of large banks in its client base, robust technology capabilities and global delivery footprint.

In this report, Everest Group analysed the position of 12 service providers on the Everest Group PEAK Matrix for banking BPO. As Tata reported, these service providers are divided into three categories based on performance — leaders, major contenders and emerging players. The PEAK Matrix is a framework to assess the absolute matrix success and overall capability of service providers.

“With continued investments in the financial services sector, a strong client list and a robust portfolio of offerings, TCS emerged with top quartile performance across both market success and capability measures in our banking BPO PEAK assessment," said Saurabh Gupta, vice president for BPO research, Everest Group.

“We are honoured to receive recognition for our leadership in banking business process services from Everest Group. Our investment in the banking domain, expertise in banking process transformation and focus on analytics in the area of risk, fraud and customer relationships are helping our financial services clients improve process efficiencies, business effectiveness and regulatory compliance,” said, Abid Ali Neemuchwala, global head, TCS BPO.

With a wealth of experience partnering the world’s leading banks and financial institutions, TCS's domain expertise spans the entire banking life cycle and includes originsations, transaction processing, default management and risk and predictive analytics. TCS’s FORE transformation methodology, its BaNCS suite of platform solutions and its Global Network Delivery Model means that TCS is a strategic and proactive growth enabler for its banking customers.
