The price for New Year’s Eve at Tbilisi Marriott Hotel starts at GEL 200 incl. VAT based on the table location. Children under 7 are free of charge, 50 percent discount for children of 7-13.

For GEL 125 it is possible to spend an unforgettable night at Italian bar and restaurant Filini in the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel. The event will be held at the Iveria Ballroom as well, where people can enjoy New Year’s Eve for GEL 250.

“Filini offers a wonderful performance by Geostar and New Voice singers Mako Kvitaishvili, Mari Pavliashvili, Mariko Lezhava and friends,” Nina Asatiani, Director of Sales and Marketing told The FINANCIAL.

The package includes a gala New Year’s Eve dinner, half a bottle of wine, a bottle of vodka on the table and soft drinks. As for Iveria Ballroom, it will present the world famous group from MOSCOW Venger Collective. In this case, the package is almost the same. Prices exclude 18 percent VAT. Step into the winter wonderland that is the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel this New Year’s night. So ring in the New Year from the highest bar in Tbilisi , at the Radisson Blu Iveria.

Restaurants all over Tbilisi are inviting people to have a special New Year’s meal with them, listen to Georgian popstars and participate in lottery draws. Programmes generally start at 11 p.m. on 31 December. GEL 150 is the average price for a New Year’s Eve celebration at one of Tbilisi ’s restaurants.

Here are the prices of the restaurants, bars and hotels which are offering a special New Year’s Eve programme in 2013: The cost per person in Alaverdi restaurant is GEL 55; Babilo - GEL 70; Bermukha - GEL 100; Cruise - GEL 170; Europe - GEL 120; Keria - GEL 150; Krtsanisi - GEL 170; Betsy’s Hotel - GEL 125; Citadines - GEL 100; Cruise - GEL 170.

There will be live music for the whole night at Dublin restaurant on Akhvlediani Street. “For GEL 80, including a menu of GEL 40, guests will be able to enjoy New Year’s Eve,” said Ketevan Okromchedlishvili, the Director of Dublin.

Mtsvane Otakhi and Salome Korkotashvili will be singing at Buddha Bar.

Nightclubs are planning their New Year’s Eve programmes as well. Almost every nightclub in Tbilisi is offering a special New Year evening for around GEL 150 to guests. “We will be offering customers a New Year’s show for GEL 150 per person,” said Beso Gogilava, owner of the nightclub Click. “People can join our New Year feast, which will be musically accompanied by Rembo. And those who participate in our lottery draw will be in with a chance of winning an iPhone 4 and tour packages to different destinations,” he added.

“Our lottery show includes wonderful prizes such as Swarovski, Ici Paris and Voulez-Vous gift cards,” said Mari Tsereteli, the Manager of Hookah Lounge DJ Bar. “Also, people can win the prize of spending one night at Raddisson Blu Iveria Hotel and enjoying its spa salon. Another prize is a voucher worth GEL 200 for our network. We are expecting to have at least five winners,” she added.

“We are inviting Nodiko Tatishvili, Alilo, Datuna Sirbiladze, Datuna Mgeladze, Salome Bakuradze and Giorgi Sukhitashvili to City Club for New Year,” said Gia Gumberidze, the Manager of City Club. “Khatia Shamugia will lead the show. Our Georgian menu will cost GEL 200 and European menu - GEL 170,” he added.

Tables at venues around the city are now almost all booked up for New Year’s night. So for those who have yet to decide where to greet 2013, better get cracking and choose where you will be meeting the New Year 2013!
