Tbilisi-based company GCP has just launched the famous game application with some new features on Facebook. The game’s creators believe that the project can be well monetized, as local companies might be interested in the popularization of their brands through popular interactive games.

Out of Georgia’s total population of 4.5 million, more than 700,000 people have registered Facebook accounts in the country. According to official statistics, the total number of users is 969,840, out of which up to 260,000 are inactive. Bank of Georgia , TBC Bank , Alta and Bank Constanta have the largest numbers of followers on Facebook. Statistics by socialbakers.com show that every third Georgian Facebook user has ‘liked’ Bank of Georgia ’s page.

Logorama is the logo quiz available on Facebook where people have to guess the logos of different Georgian companies. The winner of the application, second and third place receives a one-year salary. From 4th to 10th places the prize is an iphone 5. The most active player, so the person who plays the game the most often, will also receive a one-year salary.

“If there is a company name or any kind of direct sign which simplifies the process of guessing the logo, our graphic designer changes the logo so that it is not immediately obvious but the whole look of the logo is still recognizable. After the right answer is given, the changed logo returns to its original appearance before the player moves to the next question.

According to Tsignadze, although the project is the first for the company, they remain optimistic and say that it should have good results.

“For our company this project is a first, but we have very experienced staff who have worked on these kinds of projects before. We do believe that this project will be very successful and will remain reasonably popular for a long time. In preparation for launching this application we worked for two months in order to overcome all problems and rule out any potential obstacles,” Tsignadze said.

“You can find the Logorama application on Facebook. There are three possible answers per logo and you have to choose the right one. You have five seconds to answer each question. If the time elapses or you get the answer wrong you get 0 points. A right answer is worth 500 points and if any additional seconds are left you receive 500+500 points.”

“You get two seconds per logo to prepare before answering, and then you can see the next question. After ten questions, you can take a break and have a look at your results. You can stop playing the game at any stage and then continue any time you like as your results get saved,” Tsignadze noted.

“There will be as many questions as the participant companies. After passing each question, the number of points received is your final score for the game according to which you enter the rate of the game. The aim of the game is to receive the maximum number of points so as to get in to the top ten strongest participants who are then eligible for great prizes,” Tsignadze said.

“To increase your knowledge and improve the chances of your game, you can check the catalogue before playing where all of the participant companies’ logos and short descriptions are displayed,” Tsignadze said.
