As WebWire reported, these natural disasters included hail damage, flooding, wind damage, and historic wildfires.

In fact, according to some reports, insurers face claims of close to $2 billion from these events.  Thousands of properties from the East Coast to the Rocky Mountains were damaged or destroyed.

All of these natural disasters have kept many environmental, remediation and reconstruction companies busy as they help communities rebuild.  Many of the damaged homes and businesses have suffered from water damage resulting in mold growth, sewage and even chemical contamination.  Many older homes may also have issues with asbestos and lead-based paints.  Homes affected by the wildfires that survived, but suffered smoke damage, are now left with the task of having the smoke residues abated.

Professionals involved in the rebuilding process range from environmental and indoor air quality consultants, mold and fire damage remediation contractors to reconstruction experts.  Fortunately, many of these professionals and companies are able to provide their valuable resources because Legends Environmental Insurance Services offers insurance coverage for the specialty services they offer.

“Over the years, thousands of contractors and environmental firms have utilized Legends for their insurance needs, making Legends one of the largest specialized insurance providers in the nation,” reported Brian Mcfarland, Vice President of Legends Environmental Insurance Services.  “Legends has a long tradition of providing the best insurance coverage for professionals involved with restoration, environmental and indoor air quality (IAQ) services.  Fortunately, these experts are available to help people return to their normal lives, quickly and in a safe and healthy environment.”
