The FINANCIAL -- Groupe Eurotunnel, a leading provider of cross-channel and transport infrastructure, rang the opening bell in London this morning at 8 am to celebrate its admission to trading on the London market of NYSE Euronext (NYX) under the ticker symbol GET.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jacques Gounon, joined by members of Groupe Eurotunnel’s management team thus marked the start of continental Europe trading.

According to NYSE Euronext, following his 30 minute journey to France through the Channel Tunnel on the Shuttle, Mr Jacques Gounon will close the European cash markets of NYSE Euronext from Paris  at 5.30 pm.
