As the MOSCOW Exchange reported, the FX Market software update is aimed at reducing risks of data misalignment between the primary and back-up trading systems. It has improved the functionality of the Exchange's online backup servers. In addition to the present online exchange data backup service, the technical experts of the MOSCOW Exchange launched an upgraded hot backup mode that helps speed up trading system recovery in case of any technical disruptions.

Besides, the updated software allowed the Exchange to considerably improve the FX Market trading system performance by enhancing the order processing.

The updated software was tested on Monday 19, 2012 with the trading and settlement systems running as expected.
