The exhibition will feature Chubika’s latest works, including the white leather sculptures created with the use of Chubika’s own unique technology. Prominent Georgian musicians, Nika Machaidze and Tusya Beridze will perform on the opening day. Within the framework of the project, Chubika will offer students her Masterclass.

“Bank Republic continues to facilitate closer Franco-Georgian connections. The broader community remembers our significant art projects implemented recently. This time we wish to introduce to our clients and partners the sculpture Elena, created by Nino Chubinishvili with the bank’s support, using her own innovative technology. We selected the entourage of the Writers’ House for the exhibition. Together with contemporary installations, this will create a peculiar, mystic environment for visitors. We are happy that our clients and partners will be the first to see the sculpture. Bank Republic will present another Franco-Georgian project in the near future,” said Teiko Kandelaki, Head of Corporate Communication Department.

Ketevan Kintsurashvili, Doctor of Arts, art critic: “With her creations, Chubika offers us a journey to unknown paths, associations, indefinite time and lets us wander through labyrinths of imagination. The centuries of art history give birth to Chubika’s exceptional forms. Her technique of leather molding was created as a result of searching for purpose and ways of expression.”

The exhibition will open on October 4 at the Writers’ House, 13, Machabeli street and will last for three days.
