On July 8th, French Business Council - Georgia organized its traditional dinner gathering all members and honorable guests.
The dinner was held in the hotel “Ambassadori” sponsored by its member
“Alliance Georgia”, which has offered to the invitees interesting
presentation of “Siesta immobilier”- real estate operators at the
French Riviera.
It was last Reception before summer holidays, hence good opportunity
for the members to interact with each other and exchange business
opportunities. The President of the Council - Mr. Gilbert Hie
communicated half year performance as well as nearest plans and
welcomed four new members. FBC currently affiliates 54 Georgian and
French members.
Among the special invitees was Mr. Zurab Simonia, director of IRMA
(Investment Risk Management Agency) who presented the activities of
this new agency of the Ministry of Finance in charge for investment
promotion and protection.

French Business Council – Georgia (FBC) was launched on February 14,
2008, targeting to promote the open market system in Georgia and foster
French-Georgian business relations in order to contribute substantially
to the expansion, modernization and enhancement of Georgia’s
international trade and investment. One of the most important missions
of the French Business Council is to assist small and medium-sized
businesses and to open door in export.
