(via.finchannel) The Caucasus Online acknowledged it was in debts with the United Telecom. This Company starts the legalizing process of its own net, which will be supported by the United Telecom via its infrastructure.
During the last week, after the active consultations, 3 contracts were signed between the United Telecom and The Caucasus Online , by which the technical and settlement mechanisms will be regulated finally. Particularly:
The procedures and terms are agreed mutually, according which The United Telecom will allot its infrastructure in return of payment and gives the opportunity to the Caucasus Online to use its electrical communication duct channels, line-cable (phone) pairs and spaces of collocation (switch centers). Also, according to the Agreement, specialists from the Caucasus Online will be able to work every day (at weekends and day-offs inclusively) in the course of 24 hours, without any limitations at all spaces of collocation, both in Tbilisi and regions.
The ground for meeting of financial liabilities defined in mentioned contracts (contracts on “access to the electrical communication duct channels” and “access to the broadband copper line-cable pairs and spaces of collocation) is the Bank Guarantee (500 000 GEL). The United Telecom is authorized to cash the Bank guarantee fully, considering the bank limit, only if the Caucasus Online will not pay the fee accrued for the service received or effects the payment partially.
The third, important Contract was drawn up on allocation of optic – fiber net of the Caucasus Online (Ge-link) in duct channels owned by the United Telecom. Based on this contract, the Caucasus Online will be able to legalize the Ge-link project and adjust it in accordance with legislation.
The Caucasus Online will dismantle the net (224 km. cable) in districts of Tbilisi (Vake-Saburtalo; Didube-Chugureti; Gldani-Nadzaladevi; Isani-Samgori; Old Tbilisi ) and allocate it in the duct channels owned by the United Telecom.
