Wincor Nixdorf builds on its relationship with Shell as one of the Strategic Site System Deployment

The FINANCIAL -- Wincor Nixdorf will expand IT support services for Shell service stations to cover deployment and support of new site systems in those markets where Wincor Nixdorf already provides hardware and software solutions including Forecourt Controllers, Point-of-Sale, Payment and Back-Office solutions.

As Wincor Nixdorf reported, this award reinforces the relationship that began in 2008 between Shell and Wincor Nixdorf to design, build and implement a compliant and secure site automation solution covering hardware and software that meets Shell’s Retail business requirements.

Wincor Nixdorf, through its dedicated Global Service Management Team, is providing Shell with services that include: global service management, central staging, complete service station site systems installation and ongoing support and maintenance. Wincor Nixdorf will collaborate and work closely with several key suppliers to Shell ensuring delivery of the end- to-end service.

"We are committed to ensuring we supply Shell with a globally consistent delivery of site system solutions and support for service stations, through uniform and trusted processes and performance standards across all countries." said Wolfgang Kuenkler, Vice President Services at Wincor Nixdorf.

Kuenkler continues “Leveraging the breadth of our capability and processes across our Global Service Management and Operations model allows us to improve service levels, standardise the supply chain and really deliver outstanding value to Shell”.
