HUAWEI Promises Tough Competition to Apple, Samsung and NOKIA on the Georgian Market

The FINANCIAL -- Multinational telecommunication company Huawei has officially entered the Georgian consumer market. The company, starting from November 28, offers its customers high-quality Smartphones and MediaPads exclusively in ALTA network. According to ALTA’s representatives, competitive prices and high quality will make HUAWEI’s products popular on the Georgian market shortly.

 

HUAWEI on its part enters the retail segment of Georgian market with ambition and promises tough competition to Apple, Samsung and NOKIA. In addition, the company plans to be among top three companies by sales in Georgia in 2013. According to world statistics for the third quarter of 2012, Samsung was the leader in sales with 56 million sold Smartphones, the second came Apple with 27 million Smartphones and HUAWEI the third with 16 million phones.

 

As Vakhtang Tsagareli, Sales Director of Tbilisi Huawei Technologies Co. stated, Georgian market was chosen due to attitude of Georgian customers towards the quality and price. „Georgian customers are sensitive and demanding  towards high quality mobile phones, that would be affordable as well. I am sure that our entrance to the consumer market with mobile phones will be both successful and productive. Our competitive advantage is determined by quality-price ratio, new technological solutions and the tremendous experience the company has in the telecommunication sector. The company seeks to establish itself on the retail market by creative approaches; periodical campaigns for brand support and drawings in social networks and etc. are being planned ,”- said Vakhtang Tsagareli. 
 

HUAWEI is the Chinese brand recognized worldwide as a manufacturer of high-quality equipment. According to the latest statistics, the company is the world leader on the telecommunication market and is among three leading companies by sales of Smartphones.  HUAWEI  started to penetrate foreign markets in 90s and in 1998 it became an international company. Later in 2005, the company was named among top three telecommunication suppliers, which attested that the company was a world market leader. The company has been operating successfully on the Georgian market since 2001 and is cooperating productively with well-known Georgian tele- and cellular communication companies.
