The Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum is an innovative sonic toothbrush designed to provide a deeper clean between teeth and features a pressure sensor for an optimum brushing technique. The new Philips Sonicare AirFloss is the latest version of the breakthrough innovation that makes cleaning between teeth easy. The new Philips Zoom range of take-home whitening solutions provide enamel protection and help reduce sensitivity.

“Across the world, people want to improve their health and well-being and to look and feel their best,” said Pieter Nota, CEO Philips Consumer Lifestyle. “The consumer innovations in oral healthcare we’re launching today address these important needs, enabling consumers to achieve bright and healthy smiles.”

Breakthrough innovation: Philips Sonicare AirFloss -- Since its launch just two years ago, Philips has sold over 2 million of the Philips Sonicare AirFloss worldwide. It uses proprietary micro-burst technology to dispense rapid bursts of air and water droplets to thoroughly fill the interdental area between teeth and force plaque and bacteria out. Removing up to five times more plaque than brushing alone¹, the AirFloss helps people who don’t floss to improve compliance and oral health. As Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. said, after three months, 96% of irregular flossers used Sonicare AirFloss four or more days per week².

“Good oral health is an important part of overall health,” said Professor Michael Noack from the University of Cologne. “Modern technologies, such as the ones that Philips will showcase at the International Dental Show, make it easier for people to improve their oral health more effectively.”
