Doctors To Remove Stitches From Yanukovych's Knee On March 11 Or 12

The FINANCIAL -- Doctors will remove stitches from President Viktor Yanukovych's knee on March 11 or 12, reads a statement made by the presidential press service.

The press service said doctors strongly prohibit Yanukovych from walking for long distances until that time.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Yanukovych on February 28 underwent right knee surgery in Kyiv.

In May 2007, he underwent knee surgery in Barcelona, Spain.
