Tymoshenko proposes candidacy of Turchynov for Kyiv Mayor

The FINANCIAL -- BYuT leader, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has proposed her political force to support the candidacy of first Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Turchynov for the Kyiv Mayor post.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this during the interparty conference of the BYuT Kyiv city organization on April 10.


Proposing the candidacy of O. Turchynov, Yu.Tymoshenko noted that the BYUT “gives Kyiv the best we have”.

 

According to her words, as of today, O.Turchynov occupies the post of the first Vice Prime Minister and shoulders the lion`s share of the work of the Cabinet of Ministers.


At the same time, according to the words of Yu.Tymoshenko, “the person of the highest decency” has to take Kyiv Mayor post.


Yu.Tymoshenko also noted that O. Turchynov is a professional economist, good manager and has irreproachable organizational capabilities.

 

Yu.Tymoshenko expressed confidence that the candidate from the BYUT is exactly the person who is able not to yield to any temptations.
