According to an UNIAN correspondent, she is accompanied by Top Deputy Prime Minister Oleksander Turchynov, who heads the governmental commission for studying conditions of the tragedy in Yevpatoriya.

The governmental delegation also includes deputy head of Naftohaz Ukrayiny Volodymyr Trykolych and other officials.

A rescue headquarters headed by Emergency Situations Minister Volodymyr Shandra has been working on the site of the explosion since 3 a.m. of December 25.

As UNIAN reported earlier, at least eleven people, including a child, have died after an explosion tore through an apartment building in southern Ukraine . Emergency Situations Ministry spokesman Igor Krol says the Wednesday evening blast leveled part of the five-floor building in the city of Yevpatoriya, a Crimea peninsula resort. Krol said on December 25 a gas leak was the suspected cause, and 35 apartments were destroyed. 20 people have been rescued, five of them have been hospitalized.
