"The concert, scheduled for Sept. 6 at Atatürk Olympic Stadium and coming as part of the band's ongoing 360° Tour, will be the Irish rockers' first-ever appearance in Turkey," Todays Zaman reported.

Tim Dowdall, the regional vice president of the Central and Eastern Europe branch of Live Nation, which is behind the band's 360° Tour, told reporters at a news conference on Thursday that they expected to sell over 100,000 tickets for the concert. Since they expect a huge turnout, Dowdall said, “There will not be a second gig in Turkey [as part of the 360° Tour].”

Tickets in seven different categories with prices ranging from TL 50 to TL 375 will be available from Nov. 2 at Biletix sales points and online at www.biletix.com. The ticket price for the front row, known as the “red zone,” will be TL 550.

Dowdall said prices for the İstanbul tickets were lower than the average ticket price for concerts in other European cities. The lowest ticket for the İstanbul concert costs 22 euros, which is 8 euros cheaper than the lowest-priced ticket for a concert on the European continent, Dowdall explained.
