The FINANCIAL -- New York residents say a new billboard for the Calvin Klein fashion brand is very sexual. The new ad spans a full block on Houston and Lafayette and features sultry film actress Eva Mendes, tugging at the undies of male companion.

The content of the billboard is being considered too racy even by New York standards, and the residents are demanding that it be pulled down immediately, Thaindian News reports.

The wave of protests that have surrounded the Calvin Klein advertisement featuring actress Eva Mendes and a male model, who is being mistaken by many to be David Beckham on account of his likeness to the football player, is reminiscent of another equally controversial advertisement Eva Mendes starred in a few years back, the same source wrote.

"Some of us don't want to expose our kids to something like this -- it's borderline pornography," New York resident Carl Wilson, 55, said, according to UPI com. "I think it's sexy as hell," local worker Carlos Gamez, 24, offered. "It makes me want to go out and buy some drawers like that."

The Daily News said the billboard marks the most recent questionable promotion from Calvin Klein, which pulled a similar billboard advertisement in June amid complaints.
