The Concert of Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt

The FINANCIAL -- TBC Gallery hosted the concert of Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt. The conductor was Lavard Skou Larsen.

As TBC Bank reported, the music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Joseph Haydn were performed at the concert.

Georgian State Chamber Orchestra (now Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt) was founded in 1964. Since its foundation the orchestra has concertized worldwide in the most important concert halls, including Carnegie Hall (New York), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), The Opera House (Sydney), The Tchaikovsky Hall (Moscow), etc.

From 1990 the orchestra has claimed Ingolstadt (Germany) as its home, where it has been concertizing with famous Georgian soloist, Liana Isakadze for 5 years. The reputation of the orchestra is worldwide strengthened by the internationally known soloists such as Rudolf Buchbinder, Tabea Zimmermann, Heinrich Schiff, Natalia Gutman, Sergei Nakaryakov, Liza Batiashvili, Francois Leleux. Guest conductors such as Kurt Mazur, Lord Yehundi Menuhin have also shaped the musical development of the chamber orchestra substantially. Since 2012 the orchestra is conducted by Lavard Skou Larsen.
