The FINANCIAL -- Rock Health, the first
seed accelerator for digital health startups, today announced GE as a
new sponsor.
According to the General Electric Company, this partnership is part of GE’s healthymagination initiative, a $6 billion global commitment to provide better health for more people by lowering cost, improving quality and increasing access to health technology.
As part of the partnership, GE will mentor and provide global perspective to Rock Health’s entrepreneur incubator program, which is geared to catalyzing new ideas into products and businesses that benefit the health care marketplace.

Bringing together innovators through its work with startups, thought leaders, researchers and events all over the country, Rock Health has developed a repository of resources to help entrepreneurs and experts make sense of the complicated digital health landscape.
GE joins the prestigious group of Rock Health’s corporate partners: Genentech, Microsoft Health Vault, Nike, P&G Futureworks, Qualcomm Life, Quest Diagnostics, SVB Financial Group and UnitedHealth Group. Hospital partners include Mayo Clinic, Cincinnati Children’s, Harvard Medical School and UCSF.
