The FINANCIAL -- Mitsubishi Motors North America is set to host its
annual celebration of all things Mitsubishi Motors for thousands of
passionate automotive enthusiasts at the 2012 Mitsubishi Owners Day
to take place at the company’s headquarters located at 6400
Katella Avenue in Cypress, California 90630.
As Mitsubishi Motors reported, the festivities kick off promptly beginning at 9:00 am on Saturday, July 14 and are open to the public and completely free of charge.
MOD 2012 promises to be the biggest and best Mitsubishi Owners Day ever with exciting production and prototype vehicles on display including the hot-looking 2013 Outlander Sport with its sporty new sheetmetal update, the Mitsubishi Motors i-MiEV Evolution that is set to tackle the challenging 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, custom Lancer Evolution and Outlander Sport models by Rockford Fosgate and many other cool Mitsubishi Motors vehicles.
Diehard Mitsubishi Motors vehicle owners will once again showcase a wide array of Diamond Star treasures – numerous generations of the legendary Lancer Evolution high-performance sports sedan, the adventurous Outlander and Montero Sport, sporty coupes including various iterations of the Eclipse and turbocharged Starion, the technologically-advanced 3000 GT, the eye-catching Galant – plus many other fantastic Mitsubishi Motors models will be on display at MOD 2012.
What’s more, Mitsubishi Motors will be awarding sensational prizes to MOD 2012 attendees in a raffle including one Mitsubishi Electric high-definition TV, where the winner can select either a 73, 82 or 92-inch option. The Simraceway Performance Driving Center will be giving away a Lancer Evolution Experience one-day driving course at the famed Sonoma Raceway, along with a Simraceway SRW-S1 steering wheel for use with PC-based driving games. Other raffle prizes include a set of Nitto tires and a DSPORT bundle pack with 1-year subscription, current issue, t-shirt, and sticker pack.
Fun events/displays include VANS BMX and skateboard team demonstrations, the Simraceway racing simulator, a People’s Choice and DSPORT Editor’s Choice award, the Dyno Challenge, bounce house for the kids, and much more.
Attendees who choose to display their own Mitsubishi Motors vehicle at MOD 2012 will not only receive a coupon for a free lunch combo from the In-N-Out Burger’s catering truck that will be on the Mitsubishi Motors campus for the event, but they will also be eligible to win amazing prizes from several of the vendors that will be in attendance. The Cool Haus ice cream sandwich truck will also be at MOD 2012 so owners can build their own custom ice cream sandwich.
