| SV Development: Price Bottom In Housing Market In Kyiv Reached |

The FINANCIAL -- Kyiv-based SV Development consulting company considers that the price bottom in the market of housing real estate in Kyiv has been reached, marketing department representative Serhii Kostetskyi told the Ukrainian News agency.
Kostetskyi also said that the prices for apartments in some houses are starting to grow within 2-3%, which indicates that the prices will not fall anymore.
He said that the growth is possible only if the mortgage crediting is resumed.
Kostetskyi said that majority of one-room flats are offered at the price of up to USD 60,000, two-room ones at USD 80,000, and three-room apartments cost over USD 80,000.
He said that the consumer interest in the real estate has grown.
He forecast that during the fourth quarter of 2009 - first quarter of 2010, the average price for secondary housing will remain at the level of USD 1,542 per square meter, and the price for primary housing will be USD 1,194 per square meter.
Kostetskyi also said that the prices will start to grow in at least two-three years.
Speaking about the housing lease, he said that only 540 of 26,870 offered apartments were let in September.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in June, SV Development expected that the price bottom will be reached in September.
A number of experts said that the price bottom in Kyiv was reached in April.
The SV Development has worked in the market since 2005.
The company is providing consulting services, services of assessment and sales in the land and housing real estate market.
