The FINANCIAL -- Casual dining chain TGI
Friday's is to open a further six restaurants in 2012, creating 700 new
jobs.
According to Caterer and Hotelkeeper, the first three new sites will open in Manchester, Wembley, and Halifax, with a further three openings confirmed for later in the year.
Tim Cullum, TGI Friday's UK operations director, said: "2012 is set to be our biggest year in the UK since we opened 26 years ago. It is also the most ambitious for us in terms of new restaurant launches and our Manchester Royal Exchange opening brings in a new era for TGI Friday's.
"Our people-led strategy, which puts a strong focus on our team members' development and growth, is one of our current secrets to success. We very much feel that happy team members equal happy guests.
"One of our main challenges this year will be sourcing enough high-quality team members for the new openings, particularly high-calibre managers, so anyone with appropriate experience who is interested in a rewarding and challenging career, with excellent benefits, should get in touch."
