The FINANCIAL -- USA-Georgia strategic partnership and the scheduled economic reforms were the main issues discussed during the meeting of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia and the Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, Bridget A. Brink.
Prospects of further enhancing of the trade and investment relations between the two countries were also covered during the conversation, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Bridget Brink confirmed the United States support to Georgia in the development of democracy as well as strengthening its economy, defense and security.
The meeting with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State was held at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the USA Ambassador to Georgia, Jan Kelly also attended it.
