The FINANCIAL -- As of October 4, Ukraine harvested 42.104 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 10.937 mln ha (75% of the plan). The average yield totaled 3.85 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 143 thsd ha (78%), and produced 161 thsd tonnes of the grain. The average yield totaled 1.13 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested 73 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 50 thsd ha (88%), with the yield at 1.46 t/ha.
Agricultural producers continued harvesting corn for grain, and already produced 4.228 mln tonnes. The harvested areas reached 1.012 mln ha (22%), with the yield at 4.18 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.
In addition, Ukraine harvested 8.398 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 4.432 mln ha (75%), with the average yield at 1.9 t/ha. The production volumes of soybeans reached 1.873 mln tonnes, the yield - 1.79 t/ha, and the harvested areas - 1.048 mln ha (53%).
Also, Ukrainian agrarians planted winter grains for the harvest-2018 throughout 4.626 mln ha (64% of the plan). In particular, the planted areas under winter wheat totaled 4.257 mln ha (69%), barley - 251 thsd ha (27%), rye - 118 thsd ha (73%). Agrarians already planted winter rapeseed throughout 801 thsd ha (103%).
