The FINANCIAL — Tree as a corporate symbol of Insurance Company GPI Holding became an inspiration for 10 modern Georgian artists. An exhibition of 100 drawings dedicated to this topic took part in TBC Gallery On December 28, 2012.
All 100 drawing were of the same size – 20X20, oil on canvas of the following authors: David Alexidze, Vakhtang Bugadze, Zurab Gikashvili, Michael Gogrichiani, Michael Shengelia, Kote Sulaberidze, Oleg Timchenko, Murtaz Shvelidze, Konstantine Jincharadze, Nino Chilashvili.
Kote Sulaberdze, artist: “It was very interesting for us to take part in this project – artists presented their original view of the topic. Each set of drawings is based on one concept, one idea and all of them are different and unique. On the other hand, cooperation between the private company and group of artists is itself a dialogue, valuable exchange of ideas between us – the painters, the company, its clients and society at large. This is also valuable. “
Paata Lomadze, General Director of GPI Holding: “Tree as our corporate symbol is itself a symbol eternity, stability and reliability. These are the values we as a business entity aspire in our day to day work. With this Christmas event we wanted to convey our gratitude to all our clients and partners and wish all of them happy and wealthy year. I am very glad that 10 famous Georgian artists joined us in this project and created this outstanding collection of drawings for us and our guests.”
The mini-collection was put together in the printed catalogue of works with all the 100 paintings.
