The FINANCIAL — The tender commission of the Ministry for Regional Development and Construction has selected 120 objects ready 70% and more at tenders held July 7 through July 17 to complete the construction with the state financial support.
Ukrainian News learned this from statements by the ministry.
During the first tender on July 7 the tender commission selected ten objects in Kherson, cities and towns of Crimea other than Simferopol, Lutsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Dnipropetrovsk region.
On July 8, the tender commission selected 13 objects in Donetsk, Uzhhorod, Zaporizhia, Zaporizhia region, Vinnytsia, and Sumy region.
On July 9, the commission selected 18 objects in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Kirovohrad region, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Mykolaiv region, and Sumy.
On July 10, the commission selected 16 objects.
On July 14, July 15, July 16, and July 17, the tender commission of the ministry selected 19, 6, 5, and 33 objects for completion respectively.
The price of housing real estate objects for completion with the participation of the state is UAH 7,920 per square meter in Kyiv, and UAH 6,900 per square meter in Kyiv region.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the State Mortgage Institution on June 19 sold its bonds for a sum of UAH 502.486 million at the PFTS Stock Exchange.
This March, the Ministry for Regional Development and Construction decided that the finance from the national budget will be provided to completion of residential buildings with a price of one square meter not higher than UAH 8,000 in Kyiv and UAH 6,000 in regional administrative centers, and UAH 5,000 in all the other cities.
A law on anti-crisis measures in the construction sector, which was endorsed by the Verkhovna Rada in December 2008, envisages that preferential credits will be provided to developers to complete construction of objects with high level of readiness.
