The FINANCIAL — 63.6% of voters have supported incumbent city mayor Mykola Fedoruk, candidate from the Yednist party, in the local election for Chernivtsi city mayor, according to the exit poll carried out by GfK Ukraine on request of the Yedynyi Tsentr Party.
The second is Vasyl Zabrodskyi, a Republican Party candidate, president of the local TV Company TBA, with 8.5% of the votes. The maximum error is 4.4%. As Ukrainian News reported, Chernivtsi city election commission registered seven candidates for a city mayor.
Thus, Yednist party nominated Mykola Fedoruk, incumbent mayor of the city of Chernivtsi, the Yedynyi Tsentr party put up Mykhailo Synychak, head of the party's regional organization, and the Our Ukraine party fielded entrepreneur Vasyl Maksymiuk, head of the party's regional organization.
The city election commission registered Mykhailo Krais from the Third Power party, Vasyl Zabrodskyi from the Republican Party, president of the local TV Company TBA, Volodymyr Dorosh from the People's Democratic party, and Mykhailo Harhaun from the Labour party of Ukraine, deputy director of the Nyzhniy marketplace.
Ukraine held elections to deputies of the Supreme Council of Crimea, local councils, and heads of city, settlement and village councils from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on October 31.
