The FINANCIAL — Seven tanks entered the territory of Ukraine from Russia on July 30, the State Border Service said, according to Ukrainian News Agency.
“Seven tanks crossed the border from Russia in the Novaya Nadezhda (Russia)-Dibrovka (Ukraine) direction at 04:30 on July 30, 2014,” the statement said.
According to the State Border Service, the movement of a military column of 15 pieces of equipment, including two Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, one infantry combat vehicle, two fuel trucks, and about 10 cars with personnel, was observed 15 kilometers from the border, opposite the Chernihiv border detachment.
In addition, a formation of up to 50 tanks has arrived at the Kantemyrivka railway station in the Voronezh region of Russia (20 kilometers from the border).
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, government forces destroyed two vehicles with separatists during an attempt to break through a checkpoint in the Luhansk region on July 14.
