The FINANCIAL — Accenture announced that its Accenture CAS software platform has been successfully implemented and is now in production at Rotkaeppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien, a leading sparkling wine company.
Accenture CAS is an industry leading suite of customer management and mobility software applications and services for the consumer packaged goods industry.
Under the terms of the agreement, Accenture licensed its Accenture CAS software platform to Rotkaeppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien to help the winemaker and spirits producer to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its sales operations. Accenture is also providing software maintenance services on an ongoing basis.
According to Accenture, rotkaeppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien selected the Accenture CAS software platform to help drive improved insights into the performance of its in-store promotions, and improve the effectiveness of its sales activities. This enhanced visibility has enabled Rotkaeppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien to increase sales and eliminate time-intensive administrative work undertaken by its sales team.
Accenture CAS is one of several industry-specific software products that are designed to support high performing consumer goods & services businesses. Accenture CAS offers an integrated suite of retail execution and trade promotion management software, including direct store delivery, field service and trade promotion optimization and is part of the Accenture Software portfolio of products.
Earlier this year, Accenture received a “Strong Positive” – the highest possible rating given – in Gartner’s report entitled “MarketScope for Sales Force Automation in the Consumer Goods Industry”1 for its Accenture CAS solution.
