The FINANCIAL — Accenture has hired Tammy Soares as managing director to lead Accenture Interactive’s West region in North America.
In her new role, she will will be responsible for overseeing Accenture Interactive’s business in eight states: Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Based in San Francisco, she will focus on driving growth, bringing innovation to clients and strengthening the digital agency’s impact in the region, according toAccenture.
Soares brings to the Accenture Interactive leadership team more than twenty years of experience in digital marketing. Most recently, she served as president and CEO of Publicis Groupe’s Rosetta where she was responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for the agency, as well as providing oversight of its North American business. Since joining Rosetta in 2008, Soares played a pivotal role in accelerating the digital agency’s growth and positioning it as a global leader in customer engagement. Prior to being appointed CEO, she led Rosetta’s Western region, an experience that makes her well suited to succeed in her role at Accenture.

Soares was honored among Ad Age’s Women to Watch in 2016, which recognizes women who have made indelible contributions to the worlds of media, marketing and advertising. She is also the recipient of a Silver Cannes Lion award for her creative work with Samsung, plus multiple W³ Awards. Soares is a fixture on the industry circuit and is an active member of the 3% Conference, which celebrates female creative talent and leadership.
