The FINANCIAL — Accenture has been positioned as a Leader in International Data Corporation’s (IDC) “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Salesforce.com Implementation Ecosystem 2015 Vendor Assessment”. Accenture received high scores in both the capabilities and strategies categories – the two overall measures used for placement on the IDC MarketScape graphic.
The report represents a vendor assessment including both quantitative and qualitative characteristics that define good performance in today’s Salesforce implementation services market and help anticipate the vendor’s ascendancy, according to Accenture.
IDC evaluated 12 Salesforce implementation providers in the report based on a comprehensive and rigorous framework that assessed each vendor on approximately 27 capabilities, such as “the future offering and capability roadmap,” and 22 attributes, such as ability to “meet the project timeline.” This evaluation highlights the factors expected to be influential for a good performance in the market in both the short term and long term.
In naming Accenture as a Leader, the IDC MarketScape rated “the future business strategy” as one of its greater strength particularly around growth strategy. According to the report, Accenture also showcases strength against its competition when it comes to marketing strategy. Clients rated Accenture very highly for its ability to leverage resources globally.
“We are proud to be recognized with the leading position in the IDC report,” said Saideep Raj, managing director and global Emerging Platforms and Software as a Service lead at Accenture. “Accenture’s strong client ratings indicate satisfaction with our ability to provide strategy-based industry solutions that deliver strong, measurable business value.”
Accenture has more than 5,000 skilled Salesforce consultants globally —including more than 1,900 certified consultants. In the last year, Accenture has worked with more than 250 client organizations to deliver enterprise solutions based on Salesforce and has six Fullforce Master Certifications.
