The FINANCIAL — Accenture is positioned in the “Leaders” quadrant of independent analyst firm, Gartner Inc.’s, “Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Architecture Consultancies1.” Accenture is positioned the furthest on both the completeness of vision and ability to execute axes.
To complete the report, Gartner assessed nine vendor-neutral providers of enterprise architecture services that have more than one percent of the enterprise architecture market, as defined by Gartner, across the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to Accenture.
Gartner said, “Leaders provide mature offerings that meet market demand, and they demonstrate the vision to sustain their market position as requirements evolve. The hallmark of Leaders is that they focus on and invest in their offerings to the point where they can affect the market’s overall direction. As a result, Leaders are the vendors to watch as you try to understand how new offerings might evolve. Leaders typically possess a large, satisfied customer base (relative to the size of the market) and enjoy high visibility within the market. Their size and financial strength enable them to remain viable in a challenging economy. Leaders typically support broad market requirements. However, they may fail to meet the specific needs of vertical markets or other more specialized segments.”
“We think our position in this Gartner Leaders quadrant underscores Accenture Strategy’s view of the important role of enterprise architecture in using digital technologies to drive new opportunities that create business value for our clients,” said Daniel Benton, managing director, Accenture Technology Strategy. “It also reflects the breadth and depth of our capabilities which can provide the foundation for dynamic enterprise architectures that successful CIOs can use to support C-suite growth initiatives.”
