The FINANCIAL — NEW YORK – Accenture has been named a ‘Front Runner’ by Horses for Sources (HfS) Research in its first Digital Transformation Services Blueprint Primer Report, according to Accenture.
The report assessed service providers based on their ability to execute and provide innovative solutions to clients embarking on digital transformation projects, and how they are working with clients to take advantage of digital as a market-changing opportunity. As a ‘front runner,’ the report asserts that Accenture is driving and defining the change of digital transformation.
“With the recent launch of Accenture Digital, Accenture is a stand-out front runner in the Digital Transformation services market,” said Ned May, HfS analyst and author of the report. “By integrating Accenture Interactive, Analytics and Mobility into Accenture Digital, Accenture now has the organizational structure to best leverage its industry expertise and global delivery skills, and is a leader of the pack in terms of the integrated capabilities, industry depth and global delivery capability it brings to clients’ digital transformation needs,” May added.
In the report, HfS rates service providers based on their mobility, analytics and cloud services, and includes findings from recent reports on enterprise mobility services, enterprise analytics services, and cloud infrastructure services, as well as the HfS annual enterprise buyer survey, soon-to-be published research on cloud integration services, and ongoing briefings on all of these markets.
“The application of digital technologies has created an entirely new set of opportunities and challenges for our clients,” said Mike Sutcliff, group chief executive, Accenture Digital. “We launched Accenture Digital to better integrate and further expand the extensive capabilities that we’ve developed in digital marketing, mobility and analytics. We are well-positioned to deliver real value to our clients as they realize, and benefit from, the fundamental changes that digital transformation can bring to their organizations.”
“As the report states, while digital transformation is well underway, we’re still in the early stages of this major shift in how businesses in every industry operate. It’s an exciting time for Accenture Digital to be right out front as business models and markets change shape – perhaps unrecognizably – and we are looking forward to continuing to work closely with our clients to deliver better business outcomes through digital technologies,” added Sutcliff.
