The FINANCIAL — Acer Inc. announced on March 9 its consolidated revenues for February at NT$15.25 billion, down 3.93% year-on-year (YoY) measured in US$, or down 8.87% in NT$.
Comparing month-on-month (MoM), revenues declined by 9.18% measured in US$ and by 9.59% measured in NT$, according to Acer.
Key factors impacting the February revenues were shorter number of work days due to the Chinese New Year holiday in China, and weaker consumer demand in Western Europe. In terms of Acer’s gaming line of devices, year-to-date unit shipments grew by 115% and revenues grew by 93% YoY.
