The FINANCIAL — Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, has announced that it will operate five additional services between Seychelles and Mauritius during the month of December 2015.
The extra flights have been scheduled for every Thursday in December and, in combination with the carrier’s current scheduled services on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, will see Air Seychelles operate five flights per week during the month of December, according to Air Seychelles.
Roy Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles, said: “We are delighted to meet the strong travel demand between Seychelles and Mauritius for the upcoming winter holidays by operating five additional flights in December.
“These services will provide a further 1,360 return seats, greatly facilitating travel for guests during this busy end-of-year period, in particular for the Christmas and New Year festivities.
“By adding further scheduled services on Thursdays, this extends the number of days operated on this route and offers guests multiple flight options per week.
“We would like to extend our thanks to the Seychellois and Mauritian Civil Aviation Authorities for their good cooperation and support, as the extension of the approval for the additional flights during the peak season will benefit not only the travel between the two islands but will also enhance tourism in the Indian Ocean.“
