The FINANCIAL — Starting yesterday, May 7, 2015, airBaltic has launched flight service from Vienna Airport o Tallinn. The Latvian airline is connecting the capital cities of Estonia and Austria four times per week, according to Vienna Airport.
“We are delighted to be able to announce flight service linking Vienna and Tallinn, our fourth direct connection from Tallinn which we are operating in cooperation with Austrian Airlines. This new route will further strengthen the flight connections between European and Baltic cities as well as the importance of airBaltic as an airline of the Baltic region”, says Christophe Viatte, CCO of airBaltic on the occasion of the initial flight on this new route.
“Estonia is an attractive tourism region and Tallinn, the former European Capital of Culture, offers a diverse range of cultural highlights for interested travelers. This new flight connection further expands the touristic offering from Vienna and strengthens the hub Vienna Airport.”, states Julian Jäger, Member of the Management Board of Flughafen Wien AG.
