The FINANCIAL — Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) on June 29 announced the appointment of Raoul Ros, as head of the company’s business in South East Europe.
In his new role Raoul Ros assumes overall responsibility for managing day-today operations, as well as taking the lead on strategic business directions for Alcatel-Lucent in the South East Europe Customer Unit. This announcement is effective immediately.
Raoul is replacing Dan Bedros who decided to leave the company.

Raoul Ros added: “I am committed to make a difference on the fast growing telecom segment in Romania and South East Europe. I strongly believe Alcatel-Lucent is perfectly positioned to succeed in this market and to support the transformation of its local customers with best-in-class solutions and services”.
Prior to this position, Raoul was country senior officer of Alcatel-Lucent for Vietnam and General Manager of ANSV (Alcatel Network Systems Vietnam), a joint venture between Alcatel-Lucent and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications, the country telecoms service provider leader. Raoul has been working at Alcatel-Lucent since 1992, holding various managerial positions in the area of value-added services development.
