The FINANCIAL — Aldagi BCI’s project “Let’s make one day special for Children” was started in April this year. The project aimed to make one ordinary day special and beautiful for children deprived of parental care.
The company organizes monthly tours to various sites of interest for children of care institutions. They are either taken to the National Museum, Aqua Park, Theatres/cinemas, Mtsatsminda Park or simply to meet famous people. These are just a few of the places where children and company staff have spent great days together.
“Let’s make one day special for children” – Let’s see how the children responded to Aldagi BCI’s caring initiative:
“You filled us with huge warmth, we enjoyed the day a lot. Thank you very much for that,” said the Borjomi children’s home.
“We laughed a lot. We were running around full of excitement. Everything was unforgettable,” Tsalenjikha children’s home.
“I liked the Aldagi BCI people. They are very warm and lovely people. The way they treated us meant a lot to us,” said Salo, Lagodekhi Children’s home.
“The idea to make a special project for children of care institutions was born in the company about a year ago. That’s how we designed the project “Let’s make one day special for children”, but then the question arose: “why only one day?”. We are probably unable to realize how positive and unforgettable our care could be for these children. This very day might have a crucial impact on their future lives. A lot of children involved in the project and all our staff didn’t spare any efforts in making this day really special and unforgettable for children. It was not only about social responsibility, we received great pleasure from having relations with these children. Aldagi BCI will continue this project in the future and will make even more beautiful days for children without parents,” said Nikoloz Gamkrelidze, Aldagi BCI Director General.
Within the project “Let’s make one day special for children”, the company staff visited many children’s homes, including in: Dusheti, Saguramo, Surami, Borjomi, Kojori, Tsalenjikha, Batumi, Lagodekhi and Tbilisi house Satnoeba.
The social project of Aldagi BCI reached loyal customers of the company too. 1% of each insurance policy sold goes to making one day special for children. The customers are also offered to donate an additional 1% voluntarily.
Over 1,000 children participated in the Aldagi BCI social project, which will continue in 2011 and will reach even more orphaned children.
