The FINANCIAL — The Allstate Corporation has announced that Mark Green, president of Allstate Dealer Services and Ivantage Select Agency Inc., is changing positions and being named president of the Encompass insurance companies. Green will report to Don Civgin, president, Emerging Businesses of The Allstate Corporation.
“The Encompass business represents an important part of Allstate Corporation’s customer focused strategy,” said Civgin. “Mark has the ability to lead large organizations and manage insurance risks while profitably growing the core business. This, along with his external experience working with insurance companies who market through independent agencies, will serve him well in his new role.”
“I am truly honored to have the opportunity to join the Encompass organization,” states Green. “The Encompass brand is strong and provides independent agencies with insurance solutions and products which help meet the needs of their customers.”

Prior to Allstate, Green was a founding equity partner and chief risk officer for AIX Group in Connecticut. Through the years, he has held executive positions for Acordia Inc., AIG, Chubb, and Swiss Re.
