Almost half of Kyiv residents neglected mayor election

The FINANCIAL — The Kyiv City Electoral Commission estimates the turnout of voters at the Kyiv mayor election as 53-54%.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Kyiv CEC Secretary Yuri Lozovskiy said this to journalists on May 26.

“I cannot tell the exact figure, but it is close to 53-54%”, Yuri Lozovskiy said.

According to him, the commission cannot specify the turnout of electors, because, for instance, the Desnyanskiy district of Kyiv has not provided the information at all. “But, preliminarily, I may state that the election is valid”, Yuri Lozovskiy said.
