The FINANCIAL — On November 3, Ambassador Kelly joined Georgian government officials at the opening session of the Hepatitis C Technical Advisory Group meeting held in Tbilisi.
The mission of the technical advisory group is to help Georgia embark on phase two of its unprecedented Hepatitis C national elimination program.
Ambassador Kelly commended the Georgian government for entering into a public-private partnership with the US pharmaceutical company Gilead, and wished the technical advisory group success in providing assistance to the government to continue carrying out the elimination program, according to Embassy of the United States Georgia.
