The FINANCIAL — In an Australian airport first, LS travel retail Pacific‟s new beauty concept, AMUSE Beauty Studio, has launched at Sydney Airport‟s T2 Departures. The new sleek and sophisticated store design offers passengers an extensive selection of luxury beauty brands showcased within a premium retail setting.
The arrival of AMUSE Beauty Studio, which aims to „make beauty personal‟, forms part of the refreshed T2 Domestic terminal, designed to create new and unique retail opportunities. The T2 refresh will provide customers with added choice and value, enhancing the overall airport experience.
The concept store showcases globally recognised beauty and cosmetic brands such as Jo Malone, MAC, Kiehl‟s, L‟Occitane, YSL, Benefit and Bobbie Brown and features a wide variety of prestige fragrances including Tom Ford and New York‟s very own Bond No. 9, which is exclusively available in Australia by AMUSE, according to Sydney Airport.
Customers can experience the store‟s breadth of products in a stylish setting while taking advantage of the beauty expertise on hand at the multiple cosmetic counters. Studio staff will assist with beauty advice, from mini-makeovers pre-flight using a selection of well-known brands such as MAC and Benefit, to assistance selecting the perfect present for a loved one upon arrival.
“We saw an opportunity to diversify our retail mix in T2 by providing a strong beauty and cosmetic offering and AMUSE beauty studio is a unique retail opportunity that caters perfectly to the busy T2 passenger travelling domestically,” Sydney Airport General Manager Retail Glyn Williams said.
“Our customers can now experience the latest must-have beauty products in a convenient one-stop shop and we‟re looking forward to a successful partnership with LS travel retail Pacific as we create a world-class airport experience for passengers, visitors and staff.”
LS travel retail Pacific Executive General Manager Ivo Favotto said, “We are delighted to announce our new concept store at Sydney Airport‟s T2 as we continue to identify bespoke retail opportunities where we can enhance the customer‟s travelling experience. AMUSE beauty studio is the first of its kind in Australia and where better than to launch the first store than at T2 – the busiest domestic terminal in the country.”
