The FINANCIAL — The President of Georgia, H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili has appointed Ana Natsvlishvili as his Parliamentary Secretary. He has issued a decree on Ana Natsvlishvili’s appointment today and held a joint press conference with her.
According to President Margvelashvili, Georgian society is familiar with Ana Natsvlishvili as a person having one of the most principled and key voices as a lawyer, human rights defender and contributor to state, legal and legislative processes.
“Considering her perspectives, dedication to principles and professionalism, I offered Ana Natsvlishvili this extremely important position and I am pleased that Ms. Anna has agreed to this offer. We will continue to actively cooperate with the major Parliamentary organ, the Parliament of Georgia and I hope that this cooperation will be oriented towards creating a better legal and political reality in Georgia,” President Margvelashvili said and wished Ana Natsvlishvili success and productive activities.
Ana Natsvlishvili has assessed President Margvelashvili’s demonstrated trust as a huge responsibility. As she has pointed out, she will continue her activities and contribute to the establishment of high standard legislative base in Georgia and protection of state institutions and democracy, according to the Administration of the President of Georgia.
“I hope that our cooperation with the legislative body, as well as all the state agencies involved in the legislative process will be based on respect and this cooperation will be constructive and fruitful,” Ana Natsvlishvili said.
