The FINANCIAL — On the 30th of June 2015 an annual general meeting of Sheremetyevo International Airport shareholders held. Sheremetyevo shareholders elected a new Board of Directors and made some decisions on the other questions of the agenda.
Shareholders of Sheremetyevo International Airport approved an annual report for 2014, an annual accounting reports including Profit and Loss Account of the company according to results of 2014 fiscal year. The shareholders took a decision not to pay a dividend upon Sheremetyevo International Airport shares according to the results of 2014 fiscal year. This decision was concluded because of the net profit absence and it’s completely corresponds to dividend policy of the society.
An income of Sheremetyevo International Airport according to RSA (Russian Accounting Standards) increased by 7, 5% till 19,2 milliard roubles. According to the results of work in 2014 the damage is 15, 9 milliard roubles and first of all it’s based on the exchange differences in credit obligations. An income for one passenger reached 612 roubles, according to Sheremetyevo International Airport.
In 2014 Sheremetyevo served 31 million 568 thousands passengers what is 7,9% more than in 2013. This index is record for the whole history of the airport and in addition to it was reached in difficult economic conditions. The number of transfer passengers increased by 29% till 54 million what is 17,1% from the whole volume of passenger traffic. It shows an increase of competitiveness and attractiveness of Sheremetyevo as a hub. For the last year the record indexes of take-off and landing operations were provided and formed 255570 operations, what is 4,8% more than in 2013.
In 2014 Sheremetyevo has become a laureate of a number of prestigious awards. The airport confirmed a status of one of the best in Europe in service quality according to the rating of ASQ (Airport Service Quality). In 2012 and 2013 Sheremetyevo was determined as the best airport on the continent, and following the results of 2014 won the second place. It’s a unique achievement for Russian airports.
Sheremetyevo international Airport has become a laureate of a trustworthy award in a tourism sphere — “Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards”.
Sheremetyevo has become the best international airport of Russia according to the results of expert and industry community pool which was organized by Adam Smith Institute.
Sheremetyevo has become the most popular Russian Airport and favorite brand in Russia among the travelers according to the pool results of the largest travel website TripAdvisor.
Service of the guests and competitors of Olimpic and Paralympic Games in Sochi has become the most important event in a production life of the airport in 2014. Sheremetyevo was honored with the gratitude of the government of the Russian Federation for the contribution in organization of service and meeting of contestants. For this period Sheremetyevo served more than 120 thousands of Olimpic guests, the number of Passengers with reduced mobility increased by 65% in comparison with 2013.
In the framework of realization of a program of creating a barrier-free environment for people with reduced mobility in Sheremetyevo (terminal D, public area) Saturn lounge was opened.
Sheremetyevo introduced a number of new services for passengers and guests: All Star lounge was opened in terminal E, VIP-lounge International was opened in Terminal D and VIP-lounge for Domestic flights was reconstructed in terminal D.
Airport management and shareholders pointed further perspectives: Sheremetyevo International Airport will continue the strategy of development, according to which airport income will be approximately on the level of 51,2 milliard roubles , the profitability of EBITDA will be on the level that is not less than 40% and the volume of passenger traffic will overcome the level of 52million passengers a year. Sheremetyevo will strengthen the status of one of the best European and World quality leaders.
In 2015 Sheremetyevo began realization of a strategic development project of Northern Terminal Complex (NTK). New terminal B, tunnels between terminals, railway station, new fuel-filling complex , cargo complex and in addition the building of independent third fight-strip will be finished to FIFA World Cup in 2018.
As a result of realization of the program of modernization of the airport, Sheremetyevo will strengthen it’s positions as one of the leading hubs of Europe which in it’s activity realize the ideas of innovative leadership, quality and high economic efficiency.
On the meeting a new board of directors of Sheremetyevo International Airport was elected, from the previous members new board of directors includes Mikhail Vasilenko, Ilia Petrov, Anna Belova, Yuriy Medvedev, Sergey Nedoroslev (non-executive director), Aleksandr Pleshakov (non-executive director), Dmitriy Saprykin. The board of Directors entered newly elected members: vice-chairman — the member of the board of the State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)” Sergey Vasilyev and a chairman of the board of directors of “TPS Nedvizhimost” Aleksandr Ponomarenko (non-executive director).
The shareholders approved the status of the Auditing Committee of Sheremetyevo International Airport as amended. In the Auditing Committee of Sheremetyevo International Airport were elected: general director of “Eastway Capital” Aleksandr Volchkov, deputy director of the department of state policy in in the field of civil aviation of RF Ministry of Transportation Ivan Golub, advisor of the chairman of the board of Commercial Bank “INTERCOMMERZ” (Ltd.) Elena Rechkalova, advisor of department of management of property relation of Federal Property Management Agency Mikhail Sorokin, chief of the department of transport reformation and communication of Ministry of economic development and trade Vasiliy Shipilov.
Ernst & Young Global Limited is approved as the auditor of the community for 2015.
