The FINANCIAL — Stéphane Rinderknech, CEO of L’Oréal China, joins L’Oréal’s Executive Committee as of March 1st 2018.
China’s strong growth rate, its digital modernity and e-commerce, the transformation of its channels, its technological progress, its reservoir of talents and the rapid evolution of its consumers play a major role in the Group’s strategy, its development and in its future. The participation of L’Oréal China in the Executive Committee will amplify the speed of reaction of the Group to meet these challenges, according to L’Oréal.
Stéphane Rinderknech joins L’Oréal’s Travel Retail business in the US in 2001. He is appointed General Manager of Lancôme in Japan in 2005, and later General Manager of Luxury in Korea. In 2011, he becomes head of L’Oréal China’s Luxury Division and subsequently of L’Oréal China’s Consumer Products Division.
In 2016, Stéphane Rinderknech is appointed CEO of L’Oréal China.
